My husband and I moved to Bastrop in March of 2020 and got married in October of 2022! We have three dogs, Hannah, Ester, and Merle. Our favorite activities are taking them to the ranch to chase cows and swim in the San Marcos River.
I'm passionate about my work, but outside of that, I enjoy arts and crafts, lifting weights, and baking. We also try to spend as much time with our family in Houston!
I went to massage school in Houston, right after graduating high school. I've worked in multiple settings over my career: Chiropractor offices, Massage Envy, and luxury spas.
I'm grateful for all of my experiences because they have helped me to become a well rounded therapist.
I've geared my education towards modalities that aid in recovery without taxing the body. In the past few years, I've learned Graston Technique, Pre-, Peri-, and Post-Natal Massage, and Cupping Therapy. I've incorporated all of my education to create a style of massage that many refer to as "therapeutic" or "relaxing deep tissue". Each massage is customized to be as unique as the person on my table!
In the future, I hope to learn Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Kinesiotaping!
The human body is an incredible machine, and with the proper care and treatment, there aren't many limits to what we can accomplish. I'm constantly fascinated by the body's ability to grow, change, and recover.
I aim to be a facilitator to help you live your best life. I also want the massage itself to be enjoyable. I have found that working patiently within your limits gives the best results, for body and mind. A little discomfort is ok, but massage does not have to be painful to be effective!
A big part of what I do, is teach you to take care of yourself. Bodywork is teamwork. As much as I LOVE all of my clients, seeing you less frequently means that I've given you the tools to feel better. And that is what makes me the happiest!
